Climeworks AG

Climeworks develops, builds and operates Direct Air Capture (DAC) machines to capture CO₂ directly from the air, with 15 machines currently in operation. The captured carbon dioxide can either be recycled and reused as a raw material or completely removed from the air by safely storing it underground, permanently.

The raw material, pure CO₂ gas, is used by customers in industries such as commercial agriculture, energy, food and beverage and automotive, for uses such as carbonating drinks or for producing carbon-neutral hydrocarbon fuels and materials. By using Climeworks' CO₂, customers can reduce their overall emissions as well as lowering their dependence on fossil energy.

Our unique carbon dioxide removal technology also offers businesses a permanent negative emissions solution for their sustainability strategy and for individuals it provides a way for them to remove their carbon footprint and contribute to a climate-positive world.

Climeworks was founded by engineers, Christoph Gebald and Jan Wurzbacher, with a mission to inspire 1 billion people to remove CO₂ from the air, using our direct air capture technology.

A climate-positive world requires us to act now by all means available. Let's restore a healthy balance of CO₂ and reverse climate change. Will you join us?

Grandperspective GmbH

With the scanfeld™ system Grandperspective provides the world's first early warning solution for hazardous gases that covers complete industrial sites. Based on our optical sensor units that identify a multitude of chemicals from the distance, we visualize and locate hazardous gas clouds and warn in real time against gas leaks and fugitive emissions.

Grandperspective is a young company rich in experience. Our know-how in the development and application of remote sensing systems has been developed over years of working with plant operators and first responders all over the world. scanfeld™ bundles this knowledge into an innovative solution for the remote monitoring of plants of any size.

The scanfeld™ early warning solution combines a novel detection system with an intelligent software package to form world's first remote monitoring solution that is completely automated. Hundreds of different chemicals are identified from kilometers distance by passive FTIR spectroscopy. Large areas such as production sites, storage or transportation areas are monitored with just a handful of sensor units. Gas leaks are quickly detected and the distribution of hazardous gas clouds is monitored and visualized in real-time.

The fully automated early warning solution is designed for the control room of the plant. It delivers an intuitive visualization of gas clouds and a mapping of hazard zones. It provides additional safety barriers and helps to mitigate the effects of gas release events.

EG LifeScience GmbH

LifeScience StartUps take note:

We are the first purchasing community for LifeScience companies and reduce your costs in purchasing so massively that significantly more time and capital is left for the development of your company.

Most labs buy their lab supplies from the same suppliers (Thermo, Fisher, Eppendorf, Carl Roth, Merck, NEB, Sigma, etc.), but rarely get the best possible purchasing conditions. Why? Your purchasing volumes are too small to be able to negotiate really significant discounts. If you needed 10 times as much material, you would get the best possible conditions.

This is exactly what we are here for. We bundle the needs of several companies into large negotiating masses and enforce THE prices for you, which you cannot achieve on your own.

The result: savings of at least 5-digit sums, which you would be better off investing in building up your company than losing to avoidable dealer margins.
