InSpacePropulsion Technologies (ISPTech) GmbH

We provide green in-space propulsion technologies for every spacecraft. Based on more than a decade of research and development activities at DLR.

InSpacePropulsion Technologies (ISPTech) is a Spin-Off of the Institute of Space Propulsion at the German Aerospace Center (DLR).

Current space propulsion systems offer either low cost or a high reliability. With our solutions – based on thousands of hot firing tests at DLR’s facilities – we can serve both worlds: offering low costs with high performance and high reliability.

Our two technologies are suitable for all spacecraft sizes and classes – ranging from cubesats to large satellites, capsules or landers. No matter, if you are a NewSpace player, a large satellite integrator or an institutional organisation, we will offer the right propulsion solution for your specific application.

Nebula Biocdes GmbH

In 2019 Nebula Biocides GmbH was founded as a spin-off from the Leibniz Institute for Plasma Science and Technology e.V. (INP) by the scientists Dr. Jörn Winter, Dr. Ansgar Schmidt-Bleker and Prof. Dr. Klaus-Dieter Weltmann.

Awarded the Baltic-Sea-Region Health Innovation Award (2020) and the Leibniz Gründungspreis (2021) the startup is working on the market launch of the Sporosan® technology for the reprocessing of medical devices and on the biocide approval for hand disinfection.

Energy Robotics GmbH

Our mission at Energy Robotics is to relieve humans from repetitives, undesirable and hazardous tasks through autonomous robots. We apply the newest and most efficient intelligent automated software to robots in order to meet that goal. We are engineers at heart, and we are always striving to improve our robotics software. We have applied our solutions extensively at facilities across several industries and deployed robots, brain-powered with our software, across four continents. Join us on our mission to increase operational efficiency and workplace safety.

Cellugy IVS

Inspired by natural processes, we are unlocking sustainable pathways to create high-quality biomaterials and ingredients that enable the transition of our industries to a circular future. Our fermentation process can produce a pure cellulose material that bridges high performance and unique properties, with the profile of a renewable, non-toxic material found in nature. Our drive is to provide the functional alternatives that our industries urgently need to fit in a future circular economy.

ThissenAnalytics GmbH

ThissenAnalytics GmbH has developed an easy-to-perform phosphate detection based on infrared spectroscopy (IR spectroscopy), which does not consume any chemicals.

This newly developed detection has several advantages compared to methods known today:

- No consumption of chemicals - Samples to be examined do not have to be prepared. - The measuring method can be automated and is easy to handle. - The sensors are reusable. - Can be used for other chemical substances in the future.
