EUROL Schmierstoffe GmbH

EUROL was founded in 1989. However, the historical roots date back to 1780, when badge and car smears were already produced in Ried by "Fettwerke Mayer". As early as in the 1950s, the Fetterer Mayer was able to jump on the train of internationalization by supplying international oil mullets as a pre-supplier. The rapidly changing technological requirements and, above all, the lack of branding policies led to declining sales in the early 1980s and forced new strategies. In 1989, the decision was taken to participate in the Austrian and international lubricants market with the EUROL own brand and radicalize them radically.
