2,000 DM, an old VW Beetle and a converted barn in a small village in the Taunus region - these were the cornerstones of etimark in 1973. Everything started with the production of price marking labels and the distribution of the corresponding hand labeling devices for the retail trade. etimark quickly expanded and moved to the Wetterau spa town of Bad Nauheim in the early 1980s. In 2019 we outgrew our location in Bad Nauheim and now produce our labels in Florstadt.
Always driven by innovation and the courage to push new technologies, etimark installed the world's first barcode-capable label printer not even 10 years after its foundation in 1982. The success story took its course. The company expanded from one to three buildings and increased production to a total of five label production machines. A separate department for the development of barcode-supported software solutions was formed and the planning, design and manufacture of fully automatic labeling systems began. Our own certified service team for repair and maintenance of label printers and automatic labeling machines completes our portfolio and makes us one of the leading suppliers in the field of labeling and marking solutions.
