Riga Varnish and Paint Plant (RVPP)

Riga Varnish and Paint Plant (RVPP) is founded on 1898.

From that time without interruption RVPP produces and realises wide variety of lacquers, paints and enamels. RVPP now is the leading producer of these coating materials in the Baltic states.

RVPP is the only enterprise in Latvia that does not import polymers (alkyd, polyester, polyurea and residrol and other resins), necessary for the production of lacquers and paints, but synthesises these products of low molecular compounds.

Besides traditional lacquers and paints for general consumption RVPP produces coating materials for miscellaneous branches of industry and technique: electrophoresis primers for automotive industry, enamels for shipbuilding and restoration, furniture lacquers, lacquers for electrical insulation etc.

The shop of metal canisters completely satisfies needs of the plant for cans from 1 to 50 litre volume.

RVPP disposes good research and experimental equipment.

Competent specialists of the plant together with experts of the Institute of Polymer Materials of Riga Technical university and foreign experts elaborate and successfully perform long-lasting plans of the development and modernisation of the technology.
