Brøste A/S

Brøste A/S was founded in 1915. In the beginning Brøste only imported and distributed salt, but later on Brøste imported a number of chemicals, which were distributed to the different industries in Denmark. During the war – due to scarcity of goods – a number of alternatives within substitute spices were found and the consequent success resulted in Brøste creating a food ingredient business.

Brøste has primarily been focused on Speciality products and we have become a modern and international distribution company supplying raw material to a number of manufacturing industries. We have subsidiaries in Norway, Finland, England, Sweden, Poland and Latvia. Brøste operates within four main areas, Salt, Performance Chemicals, Speciality Chemicals, and Food & Healthcare.
