Seahorse Bioscience HQIntroduced in 2006, our extracellular flux technology combines a sophisticated electro-optical instrument with “smart” plastic cartridges to enable the real-time measurement of cellular bioenergetics in a non-invasive, multi-well microplate format.

Utilized by scientist around the world, the measurement of extracellular flux plays an important role in the drug discovery and development process. Since 1984, our labware manufacturing group (formerly Innovative Microplate) has designed and produced more molds for microplates than any other company in the world. OEM assay kit manufacturers, instrument suppliers, and end users rely on our expertise in designing and manufacturing sophisticated, high-quality molded consumables on time and at reasonable costs.
