Sioen Nordifa SA

SIOEN Nordifa is part of the stock quoted industrial group Sioen Industries. The group is specialised in the production and processing of technical textiles and fine chemicals. Sioen Industries produces in 14 countries, sells in 80 countries, has about 40 subsidiaries and counts 4600 co-workers. The total turnover amounts to 339.4 million Euro (2006)

In 2001 Sioen Industries took over the activities of Nordifa in Liège, Belgium. Nordifa was established in 1800 and in time came to specialise in the production of technical fabrics; more specifically used in filter and technical felts. Nordifa filter products can be found in the food industry, heavy industry, chemical industry, water purification and afterburning systems. Nordifa technical felts can be found in: building industry, geotextiles / CIPP, industry/automotive, home and advertising/packaging.
